Weight: Minimum weight of 120 lbs maximum of 250 lbs for Young Marines and Adults. (Weight restrictions imposed by Zip Line Tour Company) Physical: All Young Marines and Adults Must be able to hike up to 15 miles a day, bike ride up to 10 miles, paddle a boat for 10 miles, be a 2nd class swimmer (with absolutely no fear of water), and have no fear of heights. Mental: All Young Marines and Adults must be team players, willing to learn and accomplish all tasks and curriculum. Other: Member in good standing. Participated in two overnight unit activities without incident. Must complete 20% of the requirements for the Conservation Ribbon in their unit (Please see enclosed award modification). YM/Sgt’s and SSgt’s must be a national or accredited JLS graduate with appropriate rank. YM/GySgt’s and MSGT’s must be a national or accredited SLS graduate with appropriate rank. YM/MGySGT’s and above must be a graduate of the National Advanced Leadership School.
