Jimmy Trimble Scholarship for Young Marines
The requirements include entering senior year of high school, i.e. for 2011 those Young Marines completing their junior year of high school in the spring or summer of 2011 and meeting all the other requirements noted on the scholarship must submit completed applications for the scholarship by 1 September 2011.
The Jimmy Trimble Scholarship is presented in memory of Jimmy Trimble who was killed in action in World War II on Iwo Jima and awarded to an outstanding male and outstanding female Young Marine. Applicant must be a Young Marine in good standing; applicant must have been a Young Marine for not less than three years.

Young Marine National Scholarship
The Young Marine Scholarship is designed to assist Young Marines in attaining higher education via tuition assistance. Applicant must be a Young Marine in good standing; must have been in Young Marine program for not less than two years; and must be accepted to an accredited post-secondary education institution, trade or technical school.
